Frequently Asked Questions
How do I restore a purchase?
Open PlantCare: AI Identifier and use the Restore Purchases option on the subscription or settings screen. Make sure your device is signed in to the Apple ID used for the original purchase.
How do I manage or cancel a subscription?
On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. Select PlantCare: AI Identifier to view or change your subscription. Deleting the App does not cancel an active subscription.
How do I request a refund?
Visit Apple’s Report a Problem page and sign in with the Apple Account used for the purchase. Apple reviews refund requests under its applicable policies.
How do I change camera, photo, location, or notification permissions?
Open iOS Settings > Apps > PlantCare: AI Identifier and adjust the permissions available for the App. On older iOS versions, find the App directly in Settings. For location access, open Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services. You can also manage notifications in Settings > Notifications > PlantCare: AI Identifier.
How do I delete my plant information?
Delete saved plants, photos, notes, or care records through the controls available in the App. Deleting the App removes information stored locally in its App container; offloading it can preserve documents and data. Deleting the App does not automatically erase uploaded images or server-side records. To request deletion of information we control, use the Privacy Requests email above. Copies in device or cloud backups are managed through your backup settings. Information held by Apple, such as purchase history, is managed under Apple’s policies.
The plant identification looks incorrect. What should I do?
Try taking a clear, well-lit photo that includes distinctive leaves, flowers, or stems and keeps the plant in focus. Automated results can be incorrect, so do not rely on them to decide whether a plant or substance is safe to touch, consume, or give to an animal.
